On 15th November 2017, Dr. Pongsathorn Dechatiwongse Na Ayuthaya, Director of the Center for International Affairs, gave a warm welcomed to Prof. Dr. Volker Gottowik, a visiting professor from Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany at Meeting Room 15/6, 2nd Fl. Administration Building.

Prof. Dr. Gottawik will be attached to the School of Liberal Arts as a visiting professor from 14 November to 21 December 2017 to assist academic development of the School of Liberal Arts under the coordination of Dr. Amporn Marddent, School of Liberal Arts.

Dr. Pongsathorn Dechatiwongse gave a brief introduction about Walailak University, its new schools and international programs offered, current and upcoming projects such as WUCC 2018, Visiting Professor Project, GAEP 2017, International Buddy 2018, International Scholarship 2018 and so on. Prof. Dr. Gottowik expressed his appreciation on WU projects and is kind to help disseminating the projects to his network in German universities. Moreover, Walailak University and Goethe University Frankfurt are expected to co-organize an international conference very soon.
