School of Informatics

School Introduction

      School of Informatics was established with the purpose of developing competitive personnel in the various fields of information technology. The school vision is to be a leader in digital innovation throughout ASEAN by equipping our students not only with academic excellence but also with the concept of “Where ‘I’ is beyond information” comprising idea, intelligence, integrity, infinity, international, incubation, innovation, imagination, invention, and inspiration. During the past 20 years, more than thousands of our graduates have become key persons in many organizations in the country. Today, our school offers six undergraduate programs and two graduate programs. The curricula for each program have been regularly revised to ensure they are up to date with the changing world of digital technology. Our school places great emphasis on the practical skills of the students; therefore, we have upgraded our laboratory facilities to be compatible with the industry. We also extended our co-operative education period from one to two or even three trimesters, to guarantee that our graduates are a progressive force for Thailand 4.0.

Our research emphasis on the applications of information technology in various fields such as medicine, agriculture, education, and industry. Potential research included Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Software Process and Software Testing, Virtual Reality, Graphics, and 3D Printing, Digital Information Management, Media & Society and how to use Social Network for Communications and Brand Building.
