Walailak University International College of Dentistry

School Introduction

  Walailak University International College of Dentistry (WUICD) is the first and currently the only international college of dentistry in Thailand. We offer international programs on D.D.S. and variety of postgraduate programs including Master degree in Orthodontics, Master degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Ph.D. in Health Sciences. We have partnered with several leading dental institutes such as Kunming Medical University, We commit to getting our students ready for the 21st-century education and skill in general education, basic sciences and contemporary dentistry. In addition to follow guideline from Thai Dental Council and Royal College of Dental Surgeon of Thailand, our curriculum will comprehensively prepare our graduates for serving regional and international demand.

Oral cancer mechanism and translational research, chemical analysis of medicinal plant extracts and their effects in oral cells and diseases, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory compounds against oral bacteria and oral diseases, oral bacterial biofilm and orthodontics tooth movement.
