Walailak University Students Depart for International Exchange Program in China
On 16 March 2026, a group of 33 students from Walailak University, accompanied by supervising faculty members, successfully departed and arrived in the evening to participate in an exchange and study visit program at Ningbo City College of Vocational Technology (NCC), located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, People’s Republic of China. The program is scheduled to take place from 16 March to 14 April 2026, spanning a total duration of one month.
Walailak University, through its Center for International Affairs (CIA), continues to implement its proactive policy in supporting schools and colleges to advance international student mobility. As part of this initiative, the Center has fully funded 100% of round-trip airfare for participating students, aiming to enhance their academic potential, global competencies, and international living experience.
This mobility program represents a collaborative effort across three schools and one college at Walailak University, with student participation as follows:
• School of Liberal Arts: 14 students
• School of Engineering and Technology: 13 students
• School of Informatics: 5 students
• Walailak University International College: 1 student
To ensure effective coordination and student support throughout the program, Walailak University has appointed experienced faculty members to supervise and rotate responsibilities during the program period:
• Mr. Pattanasak Muangchan (School of Liberal Arts), Head of Delegation
• Asst. Prof. Krit Funxian (School of Engineering and Technology)
• Asst. Prof. Waluka Aem-ek (School of Informatics)

Notably, this exchange program marks the first official collaboration between Walailak University and Ningbo City College of Vocational Technology (NCC). It represents a significant milestone in expanding academic partnerships and strengthening concrete cooperation with leading institutions in the People’s Republic of China.
