On December 18, 2024, the Center for International Affairs at Walailak University welcomed two exchange students from Wiesbaden Business School, RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

The orientation program provided essential information for the students’ successful stay. Staff members addressed crucial visa-related matters, including visa requirements, regulations, and important dos and don’ts while in Thailand.

To facilitate a smooth academic experience, the students were guided on utilizing the university’s CES website. They learned how to check and register for WU Wifi and access the WU application, valuable tools for navigating university resources and services.

Following the orientation session, the exchange students met with their respective lecturers at the School of Public Health, marking the beginning of their academic journey at Walailak University.

The day concluded with a campus tour, allowing the students to familiarize themselves with the university grounds. The tour included visits to notable locations such as the Botanic Park and a captivating encounter with the resident capybara at the Sky Tower.

This orientation program effectively prepared the exchange students for their academic and cultural immersion at Walailak University, ensuring a positive and enriching experience during their stay in Thailand.
