On 12 October 2026, the Center for International Affairs (CIA), Walailak University, organized Khanom International Adventure 2026 under the concept “Explore • Experience • Connect.” The activity aimed to provide international students with opportunities to learn about local lifestyles and culture, explore the natural attractions of Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, during the semester break, and strengthen relationships among international students and university staff.

The activity welcomed a total of 33 participants, comprising 30 students, one lecturer, and two staff members. Participants represented a diverse range of countries, including South Korea, Australia, Thailand, Botswana, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Taiwan, Ethiopia, Cambodia, and India. This diversity reflected the multicultural environment and international character of Walailak University.

Throughout the program, participants enjoyed exciting ATV adventures and explored natural trails. They also took part in ice-breaking activities to get to know one another and build friendships, enjoyed the beautiful beach scenery and sunset, and visited natural attractions in Khanom District. The trip concluded with an opportunity to savor local cuisine and experience the unique charm of the “Ream Festival” in Tha Sala District.
