On 3 April 2023, Walailak University by the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) and the Center for International Affairs (CIA) co-organized the 4th International Forum on Construction Innovation & Sustainable Materials or CISM 2023 at Walailak university, Thailand. The forum officially opened by Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University at Chorpraduu Meeting Room, 4th floor, Walailak University Hospital.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanongsak Imjai, senior lecturer at the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, as CISM 2023 co-Chair revealed that the forum received a great contribution by the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom and Universiti Malaysia Perlis or UniMAP, Malaysia. The sub-them of the event were included Construction Innovation, Recycled Construction Materials, Green Construction & Sustainable Materials, Advanced Composite Materials in Construction and Bio-Circular-Green Economy for Modern Construction. In addition, there were more than 50 university participants from six counties (Thailand, Malaysia, India, U.K., Vietnam. Its forum supported by the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Welfare Foundation Grant 2022.
