School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University parters with Faculty of Science and Engineering, Kyushu Sangyo University in development of student and staff mobility program.

The Center for International Affairs, in collaboration with the School of Engineering and Technology, welcomes Prof. Koki Ogura, Assoc. Prof. Takafumi Shibuta and Mr. Takeru Horiguchi from the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Kyushu Sangyo University, Fukuoka, Japan, from 23 to 25 August 2023.


School of Engineering and Technology and the Faculty of Science and Engineering have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) since 2019. The MoA intends to promote student mobility between two institutes and promote international staff exchange and collaboration in research workshops and seminars. On this occasion of their visit to Walailak University, they have a chance to visit the Electrical Engineering laboratories, discuss research with our faculty members, and give a lecture to students on the topic of “Test Results of a High Capacity Wayside Energy Storage System for DC Electric Railway at New York City Transit.”

The Center for International Affairs would like to express gratitude for your visit and for sharing your expertise with our students and faculty members. We do hope that we will have a chance to welcome you again and work together to promote the staff and student exchange between the two institutes.
