The 2nd Walailak University Cultural Camp 2018
Theme: In Honor of HRH Princess Chulabhorn Walailak: Cultures without Borders  

during 16-23 June 2018 Venue : Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Bangkok.

The Walailak University Opened an opportunity for international students to learn Thai culture and build up cultural ambassadors to help them to disseminate.Thai culture to the world under the concept “Cultures without Borders” with international students from 33 countries, five continents worldwide.

The Closing Ceremony. On  June 22, 2561, was  honored by Professor Dr. Vijitt Sitan The  President of  Council Affairs together with The President of  Walailak University  Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Association Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod Vice President for Global Engagement , Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsathorn Dechationgasa, Na Ayutthaya Director of Center for International Affairs place of ceremony at  Royal River Hotel Bangkok, which is a full-fledged friendship, warmth and impression with a show that combines the cultural identity of each nation together. Under the theme “Cultures Without borders”The Cultural camp under the concept “Cultures without Borders” with activities including Foreign exchange of culture learning Thai culture, Thai cooking class,Muay Thai ,Thai Dance Thai and Thai music, and together with the beach cleaning community. Study of the history of Nakhon Si Thammarat City Visiting Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, Cruise to the Pak Chom Basin Visit the Temple of the Emerald Buddha Grand Palace and the National Museum of Bangkok.

However,It is always hard to say farewell to ones we love much.  we dont say “Goodbye”, but we say “See you again”. because we will definitely meet again. There is one message in the closing ceremony with a very profound meaning. “Distance not matter since friendship knows no barriers nor frontiers” The  cultural camp has made a friendship. So far long distances are not the obstacles we will meet again. Ask everyone to keep the feeling and good memories.
