Center for International Affairs, Walailak University, Organizes a Farewell Party for the 2nd Batch of Exchange Students from Russia

The Center for International Affairs (CIA), Walailak University, organized a farewell party for the 2nd batch of exchange students from the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (NWIM RANEPA) on 26 April 2023, at the CIA meeting room, Cooperative Education Building. The event was organized to promote cultural exchange and enhance the university’s international atmosphere.

The attendees at the event included the university’s Vice President Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod; Assistant Professor Dr. Patnarin Supakorn, the Director of CIA; CIA staff, and international students.

During the event, the students and professors enjoyed dinner together, and Mr. Vikram Fiarrow, a representative of international students from India, delivered a farewell speech. The event also featured an activity that allowed students to share their experiences of university life. Additionally, Associate Professor Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, the Dean of the Graduate School, presented scholarship offers for graduate students to encourage international students to come and study at the university.

The farewell party organized by the CIA successfully achieved its goal of promoting cultural exchange and strengthening the university’s international atmosphere. This showed the university’s commitment to international education and its internationalization efforts to become a truly global institution.
